dangling from his peevishness
an ever present feeling

out here on the graveyard shift
sensing that a break won't come
shrugging off a stinging sense
he'll not live to see one

trying not to focus on
oblivion so much

paying heed to liquifactions
in a slam dunk galaxy
like a shimmering bumblebee
his craft is fast becoming more
defiantly ascendant

reaching worlds beyond the spheres
his undeniable shimmering
so far hath not registered
on academic radar
