Picture hypnotized while chasing after
blood soaked dollar bills
heedless to the shankboned cries
of creatures stuck on chainsaws

pink cheeked from across the room
this banker at expensive desk
positively boasting

"this is what we do my friends
environmental management
our machines and men
paving over what remains
building bigger more efficient
multi tier parking lots"

"see our chart
clear and plain –
profits pave the way"

as defenseless and
endangered animals are maimed
sacrificed for stultefying
suburb strip and shopping malls

apparently devoid
of any foresight or compassion
fidgeting demented looking
yelping into cel phones

smooving over swamps and wetlands
wiping out the balance of delicate ecologies
ruthless bankers on mad sprees
screwing mother nature
