#40: my indignation

indignation picture i.
a very strange projectile has pierced me to the heart …
wiled away my will and left me weaker from the start.
i'm not sure what will save me or if there is a cure …
where to get help as i lay down and i bleed
i really am not sure.

ii.
the underlying spirit of this age is not so pretty.
i have come to rail against it shrieking from the television …
i speak of the enormity of good ol' boy conformity.
i have raised my fist and railed, registered my indignation.
i am so sick of all of this, the media distortions
and the sound bytes make me nauseous!

but even worse than that now is the way i have been paralyzed,
pulled apart and atomized, faceless as i sink down
in this concrete ditch and die.

-quentin robert de gameland,
ex-game inventor, consultant and philosophical stiff.
