henry hudson resurrects his oceangoing chariot
whirling twirling spinning round i get swept aboard
by fervent sextant measuring
the distant and unknowable

toxic yearnings and ambition
blowing up and all around
troubled hands surrendering
to water born obscenities
one unending cavalcade of sailors jumping ship

shadowed by godzilla monster
sharks from here to lake champlain
trapped inside of nightmares
liquifacting in my brain

nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk

flipping out a little
henry hoohahs made of twilight
claiming that he's finished
railing against neptune and
his all wet barrel of judgements

buffeted by wind and rain
another vision down the drain
