married to his monstrous ego, screwed up in ten million ways …

i'd be first to compliment a skillfully rendered piece he's done,
but nowhere in this galaxy is the slightest hint of one.
my suggestion … to break free from
the fingernail-on-blackboard tortures he calls poetry …
invoke some grand assailant, a punitive divinity,
pray for it to steamroll and dispatch him expeditiously!
it's unnerving he's alive, a tawdry, lurid, insult
like dick cheney with birdshot … sneaking through the muck
and blasting, doing things perniciously …
